Offered here is a size 48 home white button-down flannel Los Angeles Angels jersey made for pitcher Ryne Duren for the 1963 season. Duren was in spring training for the Angeles in 1963 before his contract was purchased by the Philadelphia Phillies. This jersey features “ANGELES” sewn on across the chest in red and navy felt. The back of the jersey has “30” sewn on in McAuliffe-style red and navy felt. The Spalding tag is sewn on the inside back collar with “Duren 48 63” embroidered in green at the base of the front left tail. Below Duren’s embroidered name is printed “CAMPBELL” suggesting this jersey was either recycled for minor league use or could have been worn by Mike Lee, who wore number 30 for the Angels in 1963. The collar and sleeve ends have navy/red/navy piping and the jersey displays moderate use with a large stain on the back left sleeve/shoulder area. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the use.
