Hall of Fame defensive end Willie Davis wore this yellow Green Bay Packers helmet during the 1960’s. Davis was selected in the 15th round of the 1958 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns before joining the Packers in advance of the 1960 NFL season. Davis played the final 10 seasons of his career with Green Bay, winning five NFL Championships and the Super Bowl I and II titles. The former Grambling State star was a five-time First Team All-Pro, and although he played in the days before sacks were an official statistic it is estimated that the Louisiana native recorded over 100 in his career. Davis retired after the 1969 season and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1981.

This offered helmet is yellow, with Green Bay’s “G” logo decal applied to both sides. Please note that the facemask is not with the helmet, but the chinstrap remains attached. Davis has signed the right side of the crown of the helmet in black marker, inscribing “HOF 81” and “My Gamer” in addition to his signature. This helmet comes with a LOA from MEARS for the use and a LOA from JSA (BB12824) for the signature.
