Each card has been graded by PSA. Offered is a 65-card near set of 1961/62 Fleer basketball cards. Utilizing the "What If" feature on the PSA Set Registry, this assembly would merit "#7 Current Finest" placement on the prestigious PSA Set Registry if an example of the missing Wilt Chamberlain card in PSA EX-MT 6 is added to the set! The '61/62 Fleer basketball set will forever be noted for its abundance of Hall of Fame players, numbering 24 in total, and of which 19 are rookie cards. These include the first appearances of Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West and Elgin Baylor. Further, the release holds second-appearance cards of Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, Bob Pettit, Dolph Schayes, John Kerr and others, and the set's popular "In-Action" cards allowed the set’s roster to include all of the contemporary stars, twice! Finally, 12 of the issue’s players were included among the "50 Greatest in NBA History" line-up, as selected in 1996. If you've ever thought of getting into the game with this treasured gallery of basketball cards, now's the time to lace up your sneakers. Includes: Graded PSA MINT 9: 48 cards.
