After his successful stint with the New York Yankees that included two World Series titles, a World Series MVP and the only perfect thrown in postseason history, Don Larsen joined the Kansas City A’s in 1960. This offered home A’s uniform (jersey and pants) was worn by Larsen during the 1961 season where he compiled an 8-2 record, mostly in relief. The button-down jersey was manufactured by Wilson and is a size 48 white with navy pinstripes flannel. The front of the jersey has “A’s” sewn on in navy and red tackle twill on the upper left chest. The Wilson tag is sewn on the left front tail and below that tag is embroidered in black “No. 18 Set 2 – 61”. The back of the jersey and the left sleeve has Larsen’s number “38” sewn on in navy and red tackle twill. The jersey displays moderate wear. Also included are a pair of matching flannel white with navy pinstriped game pants worn by Larsen. These pants display heavy game use with dirt stains on the bottoms of each leg. This uniform set - jersey and pants, come with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the use.
