Offered is the actual Official National League Warren Giles baseball that "The Say Hey Kid" launched into the stands at Candlestick Park for his 503rd career home run, which was also his 50th of the 1965 season. Underneath a coating of shellac is the black ink signature of Mays, an inscription which reads "50th Home Run / September 25th, 1965 / Pitcher Bob Sadowski / Milwaukee Braves" on the side panels and additional printing on a panel written in an unknown hand.
