Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s sophomore season at UCLA was one of the finest NCAA basketball campaigns in history. The New York native averaged 26.2 points and 16.5 rebounds per game, leading the Bruins to a 29-1 record, capped off with their second of three consecutive NCAA titles with Abdul-Jabbar occupying the low post.
