Bob Tillman was a platoon catcher for the Atlanta Braves from 1968-1970, who must have known his nine-year big league career was coming to a close when he asked his teammates to sign this game-used bat cracked at the handle. This Hillerich & Bradsby W215 model contains Tillman’s facsimile signature branded into the barrel and is signed by nine of his teammates in the same green ball point pen including Hall of Famers Hank Aaron and Orlando Cepeda as well as: Rico Carty, Clete Boyer, Gil Garrido, Felix Millan, Mike McQueen, Tony Gonzalez and Tillman himself. The bat’s model number is stamped into the knob where Tillman also wrote his number 10 in black marker. A smattering of ink transfers, ball marks and bat rack tracks are evident on the barrel and pine tar residue is on the knob and handle. PSA/DNA sticker (#1B05789) is affixed at the end of the barrel; comes with two full PSA/DNA letters of authenticity (one for bat one for signatures).
