Though the Yankees were going through some lean years during the early 1970’s, Bobby Murcer’s bat, thrilling base running and flawless fielding gave the Bronx fans something to cheer about. In 1971, the season in which he used this bat, Murcer hit a majestic .331 and led the American League with a .427 on-base percentage and played in his first All-Star Game. Murcer’s 1971 Hillerich & Bradsby K48 model bat displays outstanding use with a crack on the center brand. Several ball marks and abrasions are visible on the barrel along with bat rack paint streaks. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13635) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
