Two-time National League batting champion and 1978 NL MVP Dave Parker was awarded this watch for earning the July 1972 Player of the Month award in the Carolina League. Parker led the Salem Pirates to the regular season Carolina League crown in 1972, hitting .310 with 22 homers, 101 RBI, and 38 stolen bases as a 21-year old. This offered Hamilton Automatic watch is in its original condition with a round face. The brown leather wristband is not original to the watch. The numbers and hands on the watch face are gold. “Topps Award” and an image of a baseball player appear on the watch face. Etched on the reverse side of the face is “Topps / Player of the Month / July 1972 / Carolina League”. This watch is not currently running. It comes with a LOA signed by Dave Parker.
