The 1972 NBA All-Star Game – played at The Forum in Inglewood, California – featured an array of basketball legends such as Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, John Havlicek and Dave Cowens…. and the game certainly did not disappoint. West, who was named the game’s Most Valuable Player, hit a last-second, game-winning jumper as the Western conference defeated the East by a final score of 112-110.  Cowens starred for the East, scoring 14 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Abdul-Jabbar tallied 12 points and seven rebounds for the West squad.

Offered here is a 14K gold 1972 NBA All-Star Game ring presented to Hall of Famer and NBA all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, highlighted by a larger purple-colored stone set in the center. “NBA” reads on one side of the ring with an image of a star appearing on the other. The inside of the band is engraved with Abdul-Jabbar’s initials of “KAJ” along with “LOS ANGELES 1972”. Also displayed on the inside of the band is a 14K mark. This ring is an approximate size 11 ½ with the weight being approximately 14.7 grams and comes with a signed LOA from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
