New York Mets pitcher Harry Parker wore this button-down Mets home jersey during the 1973 MLB season. Parker had the best year of his career in ’73 as a spot-starter and reliever, finishing with an 8-4 record, 3.35 ERA, and five saves while starting nine games. Thanks in part to Parker’s consistent pitching, the Mets won the National League pennant. Although the Mets lost the World Series, Parker had an excellent postseason, appearing in four games and surrendering only one earned run.

This Rawlings jersey features “Mets” sewn across the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. Parker’s number “31” has been sewn on the front and back in blue and orange tackle twill. Please note that the “31” on the front is slightly damaged, and the “31” on the back was changed in the minor leagues and subsequently restored. A Mets skyline patch is sewn on the left sleeve of this jersey. A Rawlings size “42” tag is sewn on the front right tail, and a “42 73 31” tag is sewn on the inside back collar. Parker signed the chest of this jersey in black marker. This jersey, which shows moderate wear, comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03627) for the signature, and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use.
