Bobby Murcer rang in the Bicentennial by becoming the highest paid player in Giants history. Murcer was 6th in the National League in 1976 with 23 home runs and was voted Giants MVP for his 10-game winning RBI and leading the club in steals. The Louisville Slugger R43 Bicentennial model bat shows good game use. The barrel has the 1976-only Bicentennial stamp between the center brand and signature stamp. There are several ball marks and scuffs found on the barrel along with cleat imprints. There is a padded tape wrap found mid-handle as well as a light coat of pine tar and the number "20" is handwritten on the knob. A great one-year-only gamer from one of Murcer’s best seasons. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
