To mark the 1776-1976 Centennial of the United States, bat maker Hillerich & Bradsby added a special stamp of the Liberty Bell on all bats made during that year. While these "Centennial" bats are extremely scarce, one attributed to a Hall of Famer of Jim Rice's stature is something to stop and take note of. Rice's Hillerich & Bradsby B267 sports that special commemorative Liberty Bell stamp right beside the H&B brand. The bat has a secured handle crack and displays moderate use. Several ball marks and stitch imprints are seen on the barrel as are red and blue bat rack paint streaks. A moderate coat of pine tar coats the handle and his number "14" is written in black marker on the knob end. Rice has signed the barrel in black marker and added "Game Used". Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who has graded this rare model bat GU 8.
