Regarded by opposing pitchers as the most intimidating hitter in the National League, Willie McCovey is a member of the exclusive 500 HR Club. The switch-hitting Hall of Famer used this bat during his second stint in San Francisco during the 1977 through 1979 seasons where he added 55 home runs to his eventual career total of 521. The Adirondack 113A model bat displays heavy use and has a cracked handle. The barrel shows many ball marks and abrasions along with bat rack paint streaks. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle and McCovey’s number “44” has been handwritten on the knob in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from MEARS (316088) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect A9
