Alan Trammell played his entire 20-year career with the Detroit Tigers, then continued to be a part of the club by managing the team from 2003 to 2005 and rising to the front office where he is currently the special assistant to the General manager. Along the way Trammell won 4 Gold Gloves at Shortstop, collected three Silver Sluggers and was the MVP of the 1984 World Series. His two decades of excellence earned him a plaque in Cooperstown and he is considered one of the greatest shortstops of all-time.

Trammell’s long road to the Hall of Fame began on September 9, 1977 when he made his debut against the Red Sox. Trammell went 2-for-3 and went on play in 18 more games before the season ended. It was all up-hill after that, coming in 4th in the Rookie of the Year voting the next year as he took over as the team’s starting shortstop for the next two decades. Used during Trammell’s 1977 debut in the Major League, his Hillerich & Bradsby K44 model bat us un-cracked and shows excellent use. There are several ball marks visible on the barrel and some scuffing and abrasions from contact with other equipment throughout. The Tigers star has signed the barrel in blue marker, completing this Hall of Fame-worthy gamer. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16729) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8, plus a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (Z41803) for the signature.
