Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Rookie Card. The incandescent superstar Diego Maradona shines on this scarce Crack Campeonato Mundial early-career offering. The dynamic soccer playmaker made his full international debut for Argentina in 1977 at the age of 16, and achieved international success with the albiceleste by winning the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. A national icon on an unprecedented scale in his homeland, Maradona is pictured on this card in Argentina’s sky-blue and white primary kit, with an era-appropriate hairstyle. Due to the origin of this card, Argentina, and the fact that many used these Crack Campeonato's as stickers; only 36 examples of this card currently exist in the PSA population report, this is the only one graded at its tier, with none graded higher! This magnificent card is a desirable and unique commemorative of Maradona’s sparkling career. A truly historic rookie card, in Excellent to Mint condition.
