Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jim Bibby wore this “Bumblebee striped” home uniform (jersey and pants) during the 1978 MLB season, his first with the Pirates. The jersey is a pullover with black-yellow-black pinstripes. “PIRATES” and “26” are sewn on the chest in black and yellow tackle twill that exhibits some fading. The “6” in “26” has been restored. Bibby’s number “26” is sewn on the back of the jersey. This Descente jersey is a size “48”. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
