Among the Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA records is the mark for most All-NBA Teams in a career. Abdul-Jabbar was named to a staggering 15 All-NBA teams, a record he shares with modern legends Tim Duncan and his fellow Laker Kobe Bryant. The former UCLA star made 19 All-Star teams in his 20-season career while picking up a record six NBA MVP trophies. Offered here is Abdul-Jabbar’s personally owned 1982-83 All-NBA Second Team award plaque. The 35-year old Abdul-Jabbar had an incredible season in 1982-83, averaging 21.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game for the 58-24 Lakers.

This offered plaque measures 10 x 12 inches. A raised circular crest with a basketball player is affixed to this plaque inside a raised laurel wreath bearing the NBA logo. A placard below the laurel wreath is etched with “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Los Angeles Lakers / 1982-83 All-NBA Team / Second Team”. This historically significant award comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
