Philadelphia Phillies legend Darren Daulton wore this Wilson A2403 catcher’s mitt in 1982 as he climbed the Phillies minor league ranks. Daulton played for the Class A Peninsula Pilots in 1982, putting up a Triple Crown slash line of .241/11/44 in 110 games. By the end of 1983 Daulton had made his Phillies debut, although the Kansas native would not star full time for the Phillies until 1989. This offered Wilson glove shows extensive use, with an approximately three-inch-long rip on the palm. The embroidered Wilson logo on the back of the thumb slot has been removed. “DAULTON” is handwritten in black marker on the outside of the pinky slot. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00546).
