Houston Oilers running back and fullback Larry Moriarty wore this white Oilers road jersey circa 1984-85. Moriarty, a former star at Notre Dame, rushed for 785 yards in 1984 and 381 yards in 1985 while finishing the two seasons with a combined 10 touchdowns. 1984 was the first season in Houston for the Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, who gradually rejuvenated the fortunes of the former AFL titans.

This crisp white jersey features Moriarty’s number “30” printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in blue and red numerals. “MORIARTY” is sewn across the back shoulders in light blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. A Russell Athletic size “46” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. Five team repairs are present on the jersey, which is accompanied by an RGU LOA and a LOA from the Oilers equipment manager.
