Atlanta Falcons receiver Alfred Jackson wore this red Falcons home jersey during the 1984 NFL season. Jackson, a former seventh round draft pick out of Texas, caught a career-high 52 receptions for 731 yards in what would be his final NFL season. The 29-year old Jackson caught two touchdown passes in 1984 and was named the Week 14 Offensive Player of the Week after catching 11 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.
This offered Falcons home jersey is red, with Jackson’s number “85” applied to the chest, back, and shoulders in white and black numerals. “A. Jackson” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching red nameplate. White and black stripes and Falcons logos are applied to both sleeves. An “84” year tag, a “Reeder & McGaughey” tag, and a Russell Athletic size “42” tag are sewn on the front left tail. This historic jersey comes with an RGU LOA.
