Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has signed this copy of the script for the 1985 film Fletch. Starring Chevy Chase and a fantastic ensemble cast. Fletch told the story of an investigative reporter roped into a high-stakes murder plot. At one point, Chase’s character Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher has a dream about playing basketball with Kareem and the Lakers, complete with his own number “99” Lakers jersey and an exaggerated afro. Abdul-Jabbar and Chick Hearn both appear as themselves in this classic film. This script has the date “May 4, 1984” printed on the front cover. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the red cover in black marker. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
