The Little Falls Mets – a Short-Season A Class affiliate of the New York Mets – finished the New York-Pennsylvania League regular season with a record of 44-31, tops in the East Division. Managed by Bud Harrelson, the Little Falls squad featured several players who would go on to have Major League careers, including Kevin Elster, Shawn Abner, David West, Heathcliff Slocumb and Rich Rodriguez. Elster batted .257 while Rodriguez posted a 2.80 ERA. Little Falls defeated the Newark Orioles in the playoffs to win the league championship.

Offered here is a 1984 Little Falls Mets NY-Penn league championship ring that was presented to Kevin Elster, featuring a large blue center stone, on which is displayed the Mets “NY” logo. Around the bezel setting reads NEW YORK-PENN CHAMPIONS 1984”. One side of the ring is centered by the Mets team logo, with the name “ELSTER” appearing in a banner above. “LITTLE FALLS” reads on the opposite side, with baseball pennants displaying “YAWKEY” and “WRIGLEY” also shown. The inside of this approximate size 10 ring is marked “BALFOUR CELESTRUM”. This item weighs approximately 27.3 grams and comes with a LOA from Kevin Elster.
