Michael Jordan not only turned the fortunes of the struggling Chicago Bulls franchise when he entered the league in 1984, “His Airness” also ushered in a new era of basketball with his un-paralleled athleticism and clutch play. Amazingly, Jordan was drafted third overall by the Bulls in 1984 as both the Houston Rockets, who selected Hakeem Olajuwon and Portland Trail Blazers, who selected Sam Bowie, passed on Jordan.

Offered here is a ticket stub from Michael Jordan’s NBA debut game with the Chicago Bulls against the visiting Washington Bullets from October 26, 1984. This red and white ticket stub measuring 2 x 4 ½ inches has both the Chicago Bulls logo and Chicago Stadium logo printed on the front – making this an extremely rare example! Jordan got off to a fast start in his historic career dropping 16 points in his debut game to help lead the Bulls to a 109-93 victory.

This Michael Jordan NBA debut game ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded AUTHENTIC by PSA (43012221) and is only one of nine to have been authenticated by PSA. The last PSA Authentic ticket stub like the one presented here sold for $33,600 in August of 2018. A wonderful opportunity to own a true piece of history and a ticket stub that is rarer than one of Jordan’s rookie cards!
