In 1985, his first season in New York, Rickey Henderson became the first man in MLB history to hit 20 home runs and swipe 80 bases. The barrel displays many ball marks, checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact and abrasions, along with cleat imprints and bat rack paint streaks. The handle has been taped to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar applied. The knob has Pagliarulo’s number blacked out and Rickey’s number “24” handwritten twice in black marker. Rickey has signed the barrel in black marker, completing this interesting Henderson gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18219) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
