Hall of Fame center Robert Parish wore this green road jersey during the 1984-85 season and has been photo matched to Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Parish, who was a first round draft pick of the Golden State Warriors in 1976 and joined the Celtics for the 1980-81 season, averaged 17.2 points per game in the series. Parish, the NBA all-time leader in games played, averaged a double-double of 16.5 points and 10 rebounds per game during his 14 seasons in Boston. A nine-time All-Star, Parish was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
This green, Sand-Knit jersey features “CELTICS” sewn across the chest in white tackle twill was worn by Parish during the 1985 NBA Finals and has been photo matched to Game 5. Parish’s number “00” is sewn on the front and back in green tackle twill. “PARISH” is sewn across the back shoulders in a similar fashion. A white and green band rings the collar and sleeve openings. A Sand-Knit size “46” tag and a Boston Celtics Sand-Knit tag are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Parish signed the second “0” on the back in blue marker. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03621) for the signature, and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use. This jersey has been photo matched to Game 5 of the NBA Finals by Resolution Photomatching and a LOA accompanies this jersey.
