Parish, who was a first round draft pick of the Golden State Warriors in 1976 and joined the Celtics for the 1980-81 season, averaged 17.2 points per game in the series. Parish, the NBA all-time leader in games played, averaged a double-double of 16.5 points and 10 rebounds per game during his 14 seasons in Boston. A nine-time All-Star, Parish was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
