In his first All-Star appearance, Terry Cummings packed 17 points and seven rebounds into just 16 minutes of play. Ralph Sampson took MVP honors in the West's 140-129 victory for his 24 points and 10 boards, even though Magic Johnson thrilled the Indianapolis crowd with 15 assists. It was Cummings' first season in Milwaukee after a brief stint with the San Diego Clippers, and the dominant power forward averaged 24 points and 9 rebounds per game. His Balfour celestrium, size 12 ¾ and approximate 23.4-gram ring features a sleek, classic design with a basketball inlaid in a red stone with “NBA” and “ALL STAR” surrounding it. An NBA logo appears on one shank with CUMMINGS above, while the opposite shank has the All-Star Game logo in the center and in raised relief “1985”, “INDIANAPOLIS” and “FEB 10, 1985”. This ring is accompanied by a Balfour ring box and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC00710). Additionally, there is a LOA from Terry Cummings.
