Cal Ripken was right in the middle of his pursuit of Gehrig’s consecutive games played record when he was using this bat. The 1987-88 era Louisville Slugger F149 model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack that has been secured, minus a small missing sliver of wood missing from the crack. Some loss to the Hickory finish is found on the front and back barrel presumably from repeated ball contact. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16112) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
