Although slugger Eddie Murray played for five different teams during his 21-year career, he is best remembered in Baltimore where he is honored with a statue in the sculpture garden at Oriole Park as one of six Orioles in the Hall of Fame. A member of baseball’s 500 home run club, Murray used this 35.5 –inch, 35.3-ounce Louisville Slugger #M272 Eddie Murray pro-model with his number 33 handwritten in black sharpie on the knob and at the end of the barrel, towards the end of the 1980s. Although the bat does not show a lot of wear, there are some black and blue ink marks near Murray’s engraved signature at the top of the barrel as well as bat rack marks and varnish worn off the handle. Knob is tagged with PSA/DNA certification sticker #1B05779 and comes with full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
