The Bulls won 50 games in 1987-88, then the highest number of victories in Jordan’s young career. Jordan won both the scoring title and his first NBA MVP trophy in 1987-88, while also claiming the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award after leading the league in steals, with 3.2 per game.

The sneakers are primarily white, with elephant skin-patterned accents on the midsole and heels. A black Nike Air logo is applied to both heels. Red Jumpman logos are embroidered on the tongues. The soles are gray, white, and red, with “NIKE” applied to both soles in red lettering. Jordan has signed the right shoe in black marker. The shoes come with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services for Jordan’s signature.
