Michael Jordan wore this Chicago Bulls home jersey during the 1989-90 NBA season, his sixth season in the NBA. Jordan led the league in scoring for the fourth consecutive season, pouring in 33.6 points per contest under first-year head coach Phil Jackson. The talented shooting guard would extend his streak of leading the league in scoring to seven seasons and adding three more scoring titles after his first retirement in 1993-94. Jordan also paced the NBA in steals, with 2.8 per game, and added 6.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game as the do-it-all leader for the ascendant Bulls. Chicago made the Eastern Conference Finals in 1989-90, taking the eventual Finals champion Detroit Pistons to seven games. “MJ” was an All-Star again in 1989-90 and was named to both the All-NBA First Team and the All-Defensive First Team.

This red road mesh jersey has “BULLS” and Jordan’s iconic number “23” screen-printed on the chest in black and white. “JORDAN” is screen printed across the back shoulders in white above his “23”, which is screen-printed in black and white. The NBA logo is embroidered in red, white and blue on the upper left chest of this jersey. The open sleeves and collar are bordered with a ribbed lining that has a white/black/red/black/white pattern. The lower front left tail has the MacGregor Sand-Knit size “44 and “Designed Exclusively for the Chicago Bulls” tags, along with “89” and “3” L.B” patches that are sewn next to the two aforementioned tags. Jordan has signed this jersey diagonally on the “2” on the front in silver marker and this jersey displays excellent game wear with discernible staining around the neck and on the inside white collar. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and has been graded a perfect A10, plus a LOA from JSA (Z90938) for his signature.
