Over the course of his extraordinary career, the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was selected to 19 NBA All-Star Games, his last coming in 1989 at the age of 41. In that contest – held on February 12th in the Astrodome in Houston, Texas – Abdul-Jabbar played 13 minutes (finishing with four points, three rebounds, and two blocks) in a 143-134 West victory.

Presented here is a 1989 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar NBA All-Star Game ring which features a beautiful blue stone top with an image of a basketball in the center. Above the bezel setting is “NBA” with “ALL-STAR” reading below.  One shank of the ring displays an enamel-filled National Basketball Association logo with Abdul-Jabbar’s name at the top. The opposite shank shows that year’s NBA All-Star Weekend logo, reading “HOUSTON FEBRUARY 10-12, 1989” with the year “1989” also appearing above the logo. Marked inside the band of this approximate size 13 ring is “LGB CE” for the manufacturer Balfour and celestrium ring type. The weight of this ring is approximately 17.2 grams. This item comes directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem accompanies this item.
