The late Ken Caminiti spent his first eight seasons with the Houston Astros and in 1989, the future National League MVP played in 161 games and hit 10 home runs with 72 RBI. Caminiti wore this navy blue Astros pullover batting practice jersey during the 1989 season. Manufactured by Rawlings, this size 44 jersey features “Astros” across the chest in white tackle twill. There is a star off-centered below in white with orange tackle twill. The sleeves have a racing stripe with a red/orange/yellow/orange/red pattern. The Rawlings tag with a “SET 1 1989” flag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “CAMINITI” sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching navy blue nameplate, which is above the number “11”, also sewn on in white tackle twill. This jersey displays moderate use with fraying of the number “11” on the back of the jersey. This item comes with a LOA from Mears and a LOA from the Houston Astros for the use.
