Former guard Nick Anderson led the University of Illinois to an appearance in the Final Four in 1989. His Fighting Illini teammates included future NBA players Kendall Gill, Stephen Bardo, Kenny Battle and Marcus Liberty and were dubbed the “Flyin Illini”. Anderson was a First-Team All-Big Ten selection in 1989 and became the first ever draft pick for the then-expansion team Orlando Magic. Offered here is the NCAA Final Four ring presented to Nick Anderson. This Lustrium ring has a large black stone on top with “NCAA” printed in gold. “1989” and “FINAL FOUR” are in raised lettering on the outside top. Two cz stones are on the top corners. One shank has “ILLINOIS” printed on a banner image with the NCAA logo below, while the opposite shank has “ANDERSON” printed on a banner with an image of a basket and a basketball below. On the inside band is “©JOSTENS LTM” engraving. This ring is an approximate size 10 and weighs approximately 21.11 grams. It is in good condition and comes with an oval-shaped hinged wood presentation box with a circular gold colored NCAA raised logo plate on the top. The box is approximately 4 inches long in diameter.
