In 1990 Barry Bonds won the first of his seven National League MVP Awards. His .301 average, 33 homers and 114 RBI combined with 52 stolen bases to make him the most dangerous hitter in the game. This bat dates to that first MVP season, and best of all, Resolution Photomatching has matched this bat to an undated 1991 Star Gold Series Promo baseball card. The Louisville Slugger H238 model bat shows great game use and has a slight crack in the handle. The barrel displays several tremendous ball marks with black link transfers and leather scuffs. There are several cleat imprints and bat rack paint streaks visible and the handle has moderate coat of pine tar. This bat comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426056), who have photo matched this bat to the 1991 Star Gold Promo Series Promo baseball card.
