Dražen Petrovic was considered one of the rising young stars in the NBA when his life was tragically cut short in a 1993 car crash at the age of 28. “Petro” won two silver medals and bronze medal during his Olympic career and was part of the first wave of European players to establish themselves in the NBA. The New Jersey Nets were the beneficiaries of Petrovic’s talents and the 1992-93 team, led by Petrovic in his last season before his tragic death, finished with a 43-39 record – losing a hard fought five game best-of-five first round series with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Offered here is a Spalding Indoor/Outdoor basketball that has been signed by 14 members of the 1992-93 New Jersey Nets and includes the signature of the late Dražen Petrovic. Petrovic signed his name in black marker and inscribed “#3” below his name.
