Jim Edmonds, the rugged outfielder, spent most of his 17 seasons as a Cardinal or Angel fashioned an All-Star career by slugging 393 HR, plating 1,199 runners, and hitting .284. Edmonds used this bat during his first four seasons in the majors, 1993-1996, in which the Angels outfielder averaged .289 and belted 89 home runs. The 1993-1996 Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows moderate use and is un-cracked. The barrel displays several prominent ball marks alongside cleat imprints and bat rack paint streaks. The handle has been wrapped with a spiral of adhesive to enhance the grip and Edmonds’ number “25 has been handwritten on the knob in silver. The Angels star has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker, adding his number “25.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18209) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 and LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25432) for the signature.
