Entering the 1993 regular season as defending Super Bowl champions, the Dallas Cowboys certainly had a bull’s-eye on their backs. They responded as only true champions can. Dallas won the NFC East with a record of 12-4, then ran through the playoffs on the way to a 30-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII to give them a repeat title. Running back Emmitt Smith ran for 1,486 yards – with an average of 5.3 yards per attempt – and nine touchdowns. Wide receiver Michael Irvin caught 88 passes for 1,330 yards and seven TDs, while quarterback Troy Aikman posted a QB rating of 99.0.

Offered here is a Balfour 10K 1993 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXVIII champions player ring that was presented to Joe Fishback, who appeared in six games for the Cowboys that season. The ring is highlighted by four larger diamonds – representing this being the fourth title in team history – surrounded by smaller diamonds that make up a football shape. Additional diamonds appear around the outer perimeter, along with relief lettering of “DALLAS COWBOYS”. One side displays “WORLD CHAMPIONS BACK TO BACK” in addition to two images of the Vince Lombardi trophy as well as a colorful Super Bowl XXVIII logo. The opposite side shows the name “FISHBACK” and his number “46” as well as the NFL league logo above an image of the team’s stadium. “LGB 10K” is marked inside the band, which shows some wear. This ring weighs approximately 57.3 grams and is an approximate size 12.
