This Joe Montana game worn, red home jersey is from the 1994 season, his last season in the NFL, and has been photo-matched to Getty images number 284859.The game Montana wore this jersey was on November 20, 1994 during the Chiefs 20-13 win over The Cleveland Browns. On that day Montana was 19 for 33 passing with 169 yards and one touchdown. That year Montana led the Chiefs to a 9-7 season to finish second in the AFC West. This red, home jersey has the “NFL” 75th anniversary patch on the left front shoulder and the 35th year AFL-AFC merger patch on the right shoulder. Montana’s number "19" is on the front, back and both shoulders in white-on-yellow tackle twill. The bottom front tail has the “Wilson” manufacturers tag, with stitched year “94” and attached size “40” tags. His name “MONTANA” is across the top also in white-on-yellow tackle twill stitched onto a red nameplate. Each side of this special jersey has been boldly signed in black marker “Joe Montana”. This game used jersey was used by arguably the greatest quarterback to ever play the game during his final NFL season.
