A pitcher really couldn't have a better year than Greg Maddux did in 1995 - 19-2 record, 1.63 ERA and a .905 winning percentage. To say he was dominant would be an understatement; he was almost unbeatable. The Cy Young voting that fall was just a formality and Maddux added it to the other three he'd won the previous consecutive years. Maddux added three more wins in the post season that year, helping lead the Braves to their first World Series title since moving south from Milwaukee in 1966.

Maddux wore this navy size 7 1/8 Atlanta Braves cap during the 1995 season. This cap has the Atlanta “A” sewn on the front in white and a red brim. The back of the cap has the MLB logo embroidered in red, white and navy. The inside sweatband has “A Diamond Collection, a “New Era the 59/50 PRO MODEL 100% WOOL” and “100% WOOL SIZE 7 1/8” tags are sewn on the sweatband. Maddux’s number “31’ is handwritten in black marker on the gray underside brim. This hat displays light to moderate game use with sweat and dirt stains on the underside brim and sweatband. Maddux has signed his name in black marker on the underside brim. This cap comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a LAO from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A18779) for Maddux’s signature.
