The Hall of Fame shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. wore this gray Baltimore Orioles road jersey during the 1994 MLB season, his 12th All-Star campaign and eighth Silver Slugger season! Ripken hit .315 in 1994, adding 13 homers and 75 RBI as Baltimore’s season ended with a 63-49 record and second-place finish in the American League East. Ripken would go on to break Lou Gehrig’s consecutive games played record in the following season, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.

This offered Baltimore road jersey is a gray button-down with “Orioles” and Ripken’s number “8” sewn on the chest in black and orange tackle twill. “RIPKEN” and a second “8” are sewn on the back in black and orange tackle twill, with “RIPKEN” sewn over a matching gray nameplate. An MLB 125th Anniversary patch and a Russell Athletic logo are sewn on the right sleeve. The sleeve openings are accented with an orange-black-orange band. A Russell Athletic tag size “48” tag with an attached “100% Polyester” flag is sewn on the front left tail over a “1994-2” tag. This comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. with a signed LOA from Cal accompanying this game used jersey.
