New Orleans Saints linebacker Sam Mills wore this white Saints road jersey on November 20th, 1994 visited the Los Angeles Raiders at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for a Week 12 tilt. The Saints defense had a field day against the Raiders, intercepting Raiders quarterback Jeff Hostetler twice and scoring on a 42-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown by Tyrone Hughes in the third quarter. In the end, Los Angeles won the day 24-19. Mills, a five-time Pro Bowler, set a career-high with 155 tackles in 1994, adding an interception and a sack for the New Orleans defense. Mills was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame posthumously in 2009.

This offered Saints road jersey has Mills’ number “51” applied to the chest, back, and shoulders in black and gold numerals. “MILLS” is printed across the back shoulders in black lettering over a matching white nameplate. A patch in the shape of the State of Louisiana is printed on the sleeves. A NFL 75th Anniversary patch is sewn on the chest. A 1994 tag and a Champion size “46” tag are sewn on the front left tail. This jersey has been photo matched to the November 20th, 1994 game by RGU, who have provided a LOA.
