NBA Hall of Famer and all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this award from the American Sportscasters Association in 1994. This award has a solid wood base that is rounded on one end with a heavy bronze sculpture of an old-fashioned microphone with “RCA” engraved. The award measures 5 ½ x 10 ½ x 5 ½ inches and a plate is on the base in black with raised lettering that reads “KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR SPORTS LEGEND AWARD 1994 The American Sportscasters Association”. The award is in overall good condition and this item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
