Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce wore this University of Kansas reversible practice jersey during his tenure with the Jayhawks circa 1995-98. The California native starred at the 1995 McDonald’s All-America Game before embarking on a successful three-season career with the Jayhawks, averaging 16.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game across all three seasons. In his senior season of 1997-98, Pierce scored 20.4 points per game before Boston took “The Truth” with the 10th overall pick of the 1998 NBA Draft.
This offered Jayhawks jersey features a blue side and a white side. “KANSAS” is printed on the chest of the blue side in white and red lettering, while Pierce’s number “34” is printed on both the front and back in white numerals. A Nike size “2XL” tag is sewn on the front left tail of the blue side.
