Ripken made his 13th All-Star Game in 1995, finishing the season with a .262 average, 17 homers, 88 RBI, and 33 doubles for Phil Regan’s Orioles. Ripken surpassed Gehrig at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on September 6th, when he started his 2,131st consecutive game. The lifelong Oriole was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.
