Before his call-up to the New York Yankees in 1995, Hall of Famer Derek Jeter spent his last days in the minor leagues with the AAA Columbus Clippers. Jeter appeared in 123 games for the Clippers, previewing type of offensive numbers he would produce in the Majors with a .317 average and 154 hits.

Jeter wore this This size XXL button-down gray Columbus Clippers jersey that was manufactured by Betlin, whose tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The front of his jersey has “COLUMBUS” sewn on across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. The sleeve ends have navy and white ribbed material borders. The left sleeve a “PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL THE MINOR LEAGUES” logo patch. The back of this jersey has Jeter’s number “13”, which was the number he wore with Columbus in 1995 and is sewn on in navy and white tackle twill. Jeter has signed this jersey in silver marker on the top of the “3” on the back. This jersey displays moderate game use with thread pulls on the sewn-on numbers on the front and a team repair of the area by the “3” on the back in which a new number was placed. This jersey comes with a LOA from Jason Moritz, who was the bat boy in 1995 and details how this jersey was acquired. Additionally, there is a LOA from Beckett Authentication for Jeter’s signature and a LOA from Mears for game use.
