One would be hard pressed to find a better leadoff man than Tim Raines. In 1996, the Hall of Famer arrived in the Bronx just in time to help the Yanks win their first World Championship since 1978. This was the first edition of a club that would dominate the American League well into the next century. The next year Raines hit .321 to continue pacing the Yankees’ offense. Raines’ 1996-97 Louisville Slugger P72 model bat is untracked and displays excellent use. There are several ball marks and scuffs on the barrel and Raines’ number “31” is hand written on the knob in silver marker. Raines has also signed the bat in contrasting silver marker to complete this great gamer. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16621) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a LOA from JSA (Z59979) for the signature.
