From one shortstop to another, St. Louis Cardinals Ozzie Smith gifted this 1996 All-Star Game Louisville Slugger Commemorative LVS Bat to Cincinnati Reds star Barry Larkin. Smith has signed the barrel of the bat in silver marker along with the inscription, “To Barry, It has been my pleasure watching you develop into one of the games greatest players. Keep doing what you’re doing. It has been my pleasure. The torch is yours to carry from this point forward. Good luck, you’re great!!! 7-9-96; ‘78-96.’” Item comes with a Barry Larkin LOA. All Barry Larkin LOAs contain a facsimile signature from Larkin and are accompanied by a Goldin Auctions LOA confirming the product came directly from Barry Larkin.
