This cap comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. and is all black with the Orioles bird embroidered on the front in orange, black and white stitching. The gray underside brim has Ripken’s number “8” handwritten in black marker and in blue marker Cal inscribed “ALL STAR GAME 96 Game Hat”. This cap is a size 7 1/8 and was made by New Era. The New Era, Diamond Collection and size tags are sewn on the white inner head band. Ripken has signed his name in silver marker on the top of the black brim. This comes with a signed LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr. for the game use in the 1996 All-Star Game.
