A two-time Olympic Gold medalist and member of the 1992 USA Men’s Olympic Basketball Team, aka “The Dream Team”, the 1986 NBA Rookie of the Year, 11-time All-Star selection and future Hall of Fame center Patrick Ewing teamed up with Next Sports and launched his own shoe line that lasted until 1996. Presented here are a pair of game used sneakers from 1996 and signed by Ewing. The sneakers feature a white, blue, and orange colorway in honor of the New York Knicks, the team Ewing played for the majority of his 17 years in the NBA. “EWING” appears above a basketball on the black mudguard located on the outstep of the sneaker. A blue strap adorns the ankle of the hightop sneaker, with “EWING” embroidered in orange running down the back heel of each sneaker. The rubber soles feature an orange, black, and blue colorway with “EWING” stamped on the undersole heel in white.  A tag labeled “SAMPLE P.T. PAI HAI USA 13 ½ UK 13 EURO CM 48.5 31.5 MADE IN TAIWAN” is affixed to the inside tongue of each sneaker. Ewing signed the lateral outstep of each sneaker with a black marker. The sneakers feature moderate signs of game use and contain wear on the lateral sides and toe box. These sneakers come with a LOA from MEARS (317699) for game use and a LOA from JSA (BB73638).
